Manual pressure checks by themselves do not give an accurate indication of tire status. You must also know the chamber temperature to properly adjust pressure and determine safe operating thresholds. TyreSense provides accurate real-time pressure and temperature data by having a sensor inside the tire. The tire chamber temperature cannot be accurately measured any other way.

TyreSense vs. Manual Pressure Checks

Implementing the TyreSense system allows an operator to reduce the frequency of manual pressure checks, resulting in equipment being available for increased hours of operation. A complete elimination of manual checks is not recommended. Regular maintenance must continue, including manual pressure checks and visual inspections for cuts and any other signs of visible damage. The following must be considered if an operator is relying solely on manual pressure checks to maintain ideal operating pressure:
